1. Save the Date, Save a Campsite? Angie and Paul are getting married over the 4th of July weekend, 2010. Momma and Poppa Bear are hoping for a full contingent of upper Midwest and [insert North Carolina's state nickname here] 'Tamers to be in attendance and asked me to get the word out that if you want to hang with them at the same campground, they'll be staying at __(insert the name of the campground we stayed at for Aunt Chris' memorial here)__. A little help Tango?
2. Momma Bear left me a message today that she wanted everyone to know that they climbed to the top of Diamond Head, on O'ahu today. Yes, they're quite the world travellers aren't they? Poppa Bear commented in the background that it was crowded and appeared that perhaps we hadn't actually won the war. Gosh, Daddio's say the darnedest things, huh?
3. Here's a picture of what Tom Cruise and his pals from the movie The Last Samurai asked you to believe was Mt. Fuji:
It's not. It's Mt. Taranaki, on the west side of the North Island of New Zealand. (remind me to tell you about my crap-tastic run near there) And with that picture if you ever go to NZ you have no reason to stay on the North Island any longer than it takes to catch a connecting flight from Auckland to anywhere on the South Island, preferably Nelson, Picton, Fox Glacier, Queenstown (if you like quaint(ish) ski resort towns) or, if I were picking for you, Christchurch, in part because they actually have a pub that sells ale and in part because it's close to Akaroa. Here's a picture of Tango, Li'l Lotto, and me goofing off in Christchurch, with an assist from a completely hi-freakin'-larious French dude (the one who took the picture):
(Remind Tango and/or Li'l Lotto to tell you about that photo-shoot)
4. See you on the Sunday, December 27th for our Festivus Party....found and/or handmade and/or Support Your Local Artist gift(s) in hand, yes?

Third time trying to leave a comment. Wish me luck.
Point A) I have a voicemail from Angie herself saying that the wedding is on the 19th of June!?
Momma said something about reserving camping spaces at Winton Woods? Is that where we were for Aunt Chris's Service?
Point B) Hadn't won what war? And whaddaya mean 'we'?
Point C) Taranaki, Fuji, Kilamanjaro, What Evs. Christchurch though, absolutely. And that crazy French photographer/traffic director did indeed put the 'high' in hilarious.
Point D) Roger that. T-Flo and I, with Shizzle and her EMT in tow, will roll into the environs on or about Saturday evening, in time for any festivities at the Rochester Taproom or whathaveyou.
Carry on.
We'll be there for the festivities on Sunday, and Saturday night, too, if the Schrandmas eve dinner comes to pass. We'll make every effort to attend the wedding, once we figure out when it really is. My sources indicated a July 3 wedding, and a June 26 grad party in Davison. Perhaps I should get independent verification of both dates. See you all in a couple of weeks.
