It's been so long I can't remember what all my clarifications were but they must have been many and varied. One is shown in this picture of a Long Spurred Violet with the Creeping Pugnasticum in the background which is a moss and NOT a wildflower as Tango implied.
The 2nd picture is the Showy Orchis or is it a Slipshod Pantaloon?

I take it things went well today, then? Good! And even without Tango going thru knee surgery again. Aren't we going to get any gory hospital shots, like Rider posted when Li'l Lotto hurt her li'l finger? (How IS that finger anyway, Rider?) The flower pictures are great, though. Seriously, Creeping Pugnasticum? Slipshod Pantaloon?
