We visited Rider X & Li'l Lotto in their new digs a week or so ago and had a great time. They treated us to a great meal at a seafood restaurant. We had an appitizer of pan seared scallops that were so good that I had to order them for my main course. They were the best I ever had. Thanks you guys!
During the day we went to the Chicago Botanical Gardens - just a short Metra ride north - and really enjoyed all the flowers and the Japanese gardens. I just loved the display of Bonsai trees so I am including a picture of a formal tree and one of a grove of trees.
Speaking of flowers, I am thinning out my Iris gardens, so I will have a lot of extra Iris left over if anyone is interested in free Iris. Mumbyclan was here this weekend and took some home with her but there will be plenty more where they came from - many quite fancy.
