Check in time at Top o' the Caves is 3 pm. As everyone knows already, but just in case, that's Sunday (8/24) for some of us, Thursday (8/28) for everyone else.
Check out time is Noon, and that's on Sunday (8/31) for the entire clan.
They supply bed sheets, towels (changed every other day) but recommend we bring our own beach towels for the pool. They supply dish soap, but we should bring our own bath soap and shampoo. They also recommend bringing any large or specialty pots/pans people think they'll need for large group meals, but they have a "standard" assortment (whatever that means) and dishes/utensils.
There's a 24 hour Wal-Mart in Logan that the fine folks at the campground recommend as a place to get groceries on your way in. {I know WAL-MART for groceries??!! That's ahh-sgusting. So maybe plan on bringing some of your favorite shelf stable items if you have room in the car? Just a thought....}
Also, a fine dining experience is being planned by the Woodbutcher for Saturday night. He found an excellent place that's close to the campground and the tentative plan is to eat at 7 pm. The menu is sure to please even the most (and least) discriminating palate.
Suggestions on other celebration ideas during THE day (Saturday) and/or on other days are now (and have been) being accepted. Let's hear it folks...whatcha got in mind?
Any questions? Speak now, or speak later, I'll try to respond as time, and interweb connections permit.
Can't hardly wait....

Truck is packed with two cyclocrossing bicycles , one set of golfing sticks, one case of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, 99% peanut free foodstuffs, and two hairless cats, one sporting a brand new root canal and four holes where her incisors once incised. So: loaded for all manner of Hocking, after having only worked eight hours today hanging and casing some cabinets I built for a bathroom re-mo. Let the Hocking begin!
Now, how do you get to wherever we're going?
