Hocking Hills, here we come!

Okay, the guys are back from Honduras safe and sound, and I'm ready to start thinking about the big anniversary trip. Can we get a little refresher from someone who knows something as far as what cabins we settled on, who is staying in them, what the peanut and tree nut rules are, and who we need to give some money to? If I remember correctly, Rider X put down all necessary deposits on a total of two cabins in Hocking Hills somewhere, one for a whole week for those with more flexible schedules, and one for Thurs. to Sunday for those poor saps who can't manage a whole week all at once. I believe the nut preference is for NO NUTS or even possible cross contaminated products in either house for the duration. Seems like very little to ask for the health and safety of a schrandling. Still, we might need some guidance on common snack foods known to be safe or not safe, to help us in our shopping.

Feel free to correct any info I may have gotten wrong, and add anything else you might have, such as y'all's estimated arrival times, your wish list of activities for the week/weekend, and any thoughts on shared meals and the party itself.

They be three {3} cabins rented. One for the truly devoted scions what have they priorities straight, one large one for nut-tolerant, less devoted peeps, and a smaller one for the short-timers what ain't about no nuts. Scroll down the page to the new "Labels" section and click Hocking Hills and magically all will be revealed.

I'm all about some shared meals. T-
Flo and myself will rolling in sometime that first weekend. I intend to ride, hike, chill, and hang loose, in that order. Euchre, Rummi-kubes, Society Craps, et cetera of an evening.

RiderX is the treasurer. I feel certain she'll weigh in on the how- muchness and the what-time-ocity of that aspect.

As for "the party itself", anyone with a idea needs to pass it on down to the worker bees for execution. Or refinement.

Counting the days......

Correction: there are two (2) cabins. One week long affair for the guests of honor (the green folks); the Periwinkle fam; and the light blue couple. We check in to that house Sunday and out the following Sunday (Labor Day weekend) Everyone else is in the nut free lodge, with a check in day of Thursday.

Shared meals? Color me there. And I'll eat pretty much anything, whilst Little Miss Lotto is a no go on the 'shrooms and is loathe to eat peas.

Tango's activities sound good to me, with the addition of a round or two on the links, and perhaps a soak or two, prefrrably of the rafting varietal.

Ok kiddios, I'm off to work... feel free to submit questions if ya got 'em... I'll answer 'em to the best of my ability in the order they are received.

I was doing some investigating, mostly to find out where this place is, and found this site:
http://hockinghillscanopytours.com/index.html
It's a zip line tour, three hours, 75$ per, max 8 to a group, our dates are still open. I haven't mentioned it yet to my brood, but I'm confident they would both be up for it , as long as I'm doing the paying. Any one else?
