Yes... despite what you may think, I actually do work sometimes.
I can't wait to see everyone next week though... and for Tango to teach me some of his new found mad tech skillz so I can do the link embedding thing too. In the meantime, check out this magnificent display of the crazies: a dude (dude'n it up) on a set of log rollers. Funny, my bike, clamped to a smooth little roller on my stationary trainer, seems so totally wussy now. {sigh}
Oh, and we met with our last potential architect last night. Some of you have seen our house in person (and been forced to listen to us discuss, ad nauseum, our renovation ideas) and we fully expect the rest of the peanut gallery to chime in with ideas, concerns, comments, questions, criticisms, and anecdotes about their own renovation projects, in order to help make sure we do this at least mostly right.
OK, gotta get to work.
Much love to all...

Hope you don't mind that I Jazzed that stuff up. Obviously some hard core MikeFoxtrotters up in there with the Pugsly and the Flintstone lookin' 2x10 and firewood roller. Was that fan belt running them all together or a bungee cord or what? Sorta looked like fun for about as long as the video lasted. Any longer and you might loosen some fillings.
I also changed log loggers to log rollers, but I left the "muck love" cause I wasn't sure if that was intentional or Freudian or fat fingers from your numb ride into work this am. Muck love back atcha.
Any drawings or sketches from the artichokes yet? Or is this the get to know me phase? Looking forward to next week, too.
Ha! I'm not sure which I like better log loggers or muck. Sadly, neither can be traced to cold rides to work... still too icy in these parts. Plus, I demonstrated serious stupidity last night and seem to have tweaked my low back pretty good. It didn't really hurt at that time, but I woke up to a fair amount of ache that got progressively worse throughout the day. I'm icing, again, to keep the throbbing at bay. Thus, no taking any chances just yet on the wet/icy roads. I look forward to saying foxtrot it all and ride next week though, if-en my back is semi okay by then. I mean really, what's the worst that can happen?
As for the arctic-techs, we met with the last candidate last night, his proposal should be to us by Friday, then it's D-day. We're leaning toward this French dude: Jean. We'll see though.
