Unanticipated Problems for a Hairless Cat

Thought Tango & T-Flo might appreciate this cartoon that came amidst a bunch of others.

Chickened out on the trip to Houghton for the Winter Carnival after they upgraded the Winter Storm Warning to a Blizzard Warning with very high winds and white out conditions and below zero temps.

Heh! Good one. And glad to see you didn't throw caution to the wind and try to make that trip despite the weather. Not fit for man nor beast in these parts nowadays. Something like negative 30 windchill at the airport today. No springpeepz that's fer sure!

First of all, I'm glad to see that hairless cats are so cool that they're in the funny papers. Second, too bad about the weather, I guess. I mean I'm glad you're not driving in it, but Winter Carnival is a pretty good time for a blizzard. Better than 35 and raining. And thirdly, it is entirely possible that the fur ball is the result of eating fresh raw squirrel. And when I say fresh, I mean fresh off the street they were run over on. And by raw, that'd indicate uncooked. Could happen.

What they said! Glad you didn't make the attempt. I've been stuck driving in whiteout conditions more times than I care to count this winter. I was honestly afraid for my life coming home after our trip to Detroit for the Pistons game. Tim and Gabe stopped at a store in GR in the truck, and I kept going in the escort. I could see about as far as my bumper, the wind was howling, and it didn't help that my teeth were chattering because the heater doesn't work.

Anyway, have you had a chance to try out Netflix yet?
