The facts concerning the arrival of "Dadiator?" as outlined by Tango 999 need a little clarifying.
1. The station wagon was a 1973 Mercury Montego MX Villager (neat picture though)
2. We didn't get it until Sept. of 1972.
3. The car I drove Momma Bear to Almont in was the 1965 Mercury Monterey which broke down (over heated) on the way and I had to get the State Police to drive us from Romeo to the hospital. Kind of scary since it was a very cold middle of the night situation with no cell phones.
After the bundle of joy arrived (mid morning) I had to bum a ride back to the car and get home. I still don't remember the details but you all survived.

"Clarifying"? You call that "clarifying"? I think one of us is lying like an eye witness. I had a feeling I might be conflating separate memories and that we didn't actually have the Montego until later, but I have this strong memory of you picking us [maybe just me] up in front of the old school building on Church? (the Post Office) Street. And it was definitely in the Montego, not that monstrous, funny-rear-window-having, bought from Johnnie's aunt, prolly-seatbeltless, (like it would have mattered) blue piece of the American Dream(tm). I remember it like it was 36 years ago. Which happens {unless I'm wrong AGAIN} to be the age you were when this all happened.
Anyway, thanks for clarifying. And I thought the front end of the '72 looked wrong, but . . . .
Thirty six years and I never heard about the car breaking down on the way to the hospital??? Nobody tells me anything!
